Dr. Anthony serves as Director of Operations/COO for the Dream Centers of Colorado Springs and President of Calibrate Global Consulting, LLC. Michael taught non-profit management, leadership and organizational development for 27 years at Biola University. He also served as Dept. Chair, and Vice Provost. Author/editor of 13 books, Dr. Anthony has consulted with numerous ministry organizations all over the world. He has been invited to serve on 13 ministry boards of directors. Michael specializes in board governance issues, strategic planning, and conflict resolution.
Dr. Michelle Anthony is the Executive Pastor of Families at New Life Church, Dean of Familymin Academy and co-creator of HomeFront Magazine. She is the author of Spiritual Parenting, The Big God Story, Becoming a Spiritually Healthy Family and her newest book, 7 Family Ministry Essentials. Michelle has over 30 years of church ministry and leadership experience in children's and family ministries and graduate degrees in Christian Education, Bible and Theology from Talbot School of Theology and her doctorate of Education from Southern Seminary. In her free time, Michelle enjoys being with her family, reading a good book, and the beach while drinking a strong cup of coffee.
Dr. Jim Burns is President of HomeWord and Executive Director of the HomeWord Center for Youth and Family @ Azusa Pacific University. Jim speaks to thousands of people around the world each year. He has over 1.5 million resources in print in over 25 languages. Some of his recent books include: Faith Conversations for Families; Teenology: The Art of Raising Great Teenagers, Closer: 52 Devotions to Draw Couples Together, Confident Parenting, The Purity Code and Creating an Intimate Marriage. Jim and his wife, Cathy and their three daughters Christy, Rebecca, and Heidi live in Southern California.
Craig Hill is an affiliate Assistant Professor of New Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary. He is also a member of the adjunct faculty at Biola University in New Testament. Hill has taught in university and seminary settings for 18 years and has served for over two decades in youth, and pastoral ministries. He also works with Standing Stone Ministry, a ministry that provides pastoral care for pastors. Hill also serves on the Board of Directors of Hume Lake Christian Camps, one of the largest youth camps in the nation. He lives in Irvine, California with his wife Kelly and four kids.
Dr. Ellen Moore serves as the Children’s Pastor at The Ark Church, a large growing church in a thriving Houston-suburb, Conroe, Texas. An Oklahoma native with a rich IPHC heritage, Ellen earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Oral Roberts University after receiving her undergraduate and masters degrees in Education from Central State University (now the University of Central Oklahoma). After years in public and private education she now enjoys serving kids, parents, and volunteers in her local church by creating environments where kids are connected to Jesus and encouraged and equipped to follow and serve Jesus for the rest of their lives. Ellen has been happily married to her childhood sweetheart, Phillip, for over 25 years, and they’re enjoying the “empty nest” as both of their children, Joshua and Meagan, are in college. When she has free time, you’ll usually find her in the kitchen.
Dr. Keehn has served for over 20 years in youth ministry in both large and small churches. After teaching ministry courses for Talbot School of Theology and Biola University for twelve years in an adjunct role, Dr. Keehn joined the faculty in the fall of 2009. His passion is to develop church leaders for future generations to follow. Dr. Keehn’s expertise in developing ministry programs to reach and disciple the Millennial generation and their families. He has spoken at numerous conferences and continues to be involved on a church pastoral staff in Dana Point, CA.
As an international speaker at churches, conferences and university chapels, Megan Fate Marshman is a leading voice to this generation. She has devoted her life to loving God and empowering others to do the same. Currently, Megan is the Director of Women’s Ministries at Hume Lake Christian Camps and Associate Dean of Youthmin Academy. She holds a Master’s degree in organizational leadership from Azusa Pacific University and is driven to inspire, equip and support others in experiencing spiritual formation for lifetime faith. She co-wrote the book 7 Family Ministry Essentials and served as the director of student resources and events for David C Cook as she led a team in creating TruIdentity: a spiritually forming, Christ centered, and family empowered youth ministry curriculum line. She lives in Long Beach, California with her husband and son.
Jason Jackson is the executive pastor of New Life Downtown in Colorado Springs. He has previously served churches in Oklahoma and Kentucky as a youth pastor, a teaching pastor, and a lead director of discipleship ministries. He coauthored "Echo: A Catechism for Discipleship in the Ancient Christian Tradition", and he wrote a forthcoming Bible study on Amos. Jason holds a BA in Pastoral Ministry from Oral Roberts University and MA's in Biblical Studies and Theological Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. Jason and his wife Sarah have been married for 14 years, and they are taking a crash course in parenting with their three daughters.
Dr. Thoennes is committed to teaching biblical and systematic theology so that he and his students love God and people more fully. He strives to make the necessary connections between the study of theology, obedience to Jesus, and fulfilling the Great Commission. He has taught theology and evangelism at the college and seminary levels for several years and is a frequent guest speaker at churches, conferences, and retreats, in addition to co-pastoring a local church. Dr. Thoennes has received the University award for faculty excellence and professor of the year. His research interests include godly jealousy, the atonement, the exclusivity of Christ, and theology of culture.
Dr. Thoennes currently serves as a Chair and Professor of the Biblical and Theological Studies Department at Biola University.
Dr. Mark Mayfield Mark is a licensed professional counselor (LPC), a nationally certified counselor (NCC), and President and CEO of Mayfield Counseling Centers. Mark has over 14 years of professional counseling experience in clinical, judicial, and faith-based counseling settings. He conducts therapy with families, couples, individuals, and groups and has a passion to provide exceptional care for military service members and their families. He also trains other clinicians through LPCC supervision. Mark has lived in Colorado for almost 24 years, is married to an amazing woman of faith, and they have raised two beautiful daughters.
Dr. Timothy Paul Jones is married and has four daughters living in Louisville, KY. Over the past two decades, Dr. Jones has had the privilege of leading several congregations as a pastor as well as in associate ministry roles. He now serves as a professor and associate vice president at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Here, he invests his time in mentoring a rising generation of God-called ministers of the gospel. He also serves as a pastor at the Midtown congregation of Sojourn Community Church and writes books in the fields of apologetics and family ministry. A few of these books include How We Got the Bible and Christian History Made Easy. He has an earned PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a bachelor’s degree in biblical literature and a master of divinity with an emphasis in church history and New Testament studies.
